Jeremiah Tower might be the most famous chef you’ve never heard. In the culinary world, he is perhaps the original celebrity chef. Getting his start at Chez Panisse, he is often credited as one of the fathers of new American and California cuisine. He then started his own restaurant – Stars – headlining the San Francisco scene until he walked away from it all. While the subject of a documentary about his life, he re-surfaced in NYC, to try and salvage Tavern On The Green. The film Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent is in theatres now to rave reviews.
